Justin B. Lynam
Law Enforcement Liaison & Financial Advisor
Justin became a client of Chris vonLindenberg (Lindenberg Financial) in 2001 while a rookie police officer. He began dabbling in the financial services industry in 2007, and when he retired from law enforcement in 2018, we jumped at the chance to bring him onboard full-time. As someone who has worn a badge himself, Justin is the perfect person to help our law enforcement client family members bridge the gap and effectively transition into their retirement from police-work. His specialty is assisting retiring Cops in establishing and developing their financial foundations to build and protect themselves and their families.
Justin retired as a Sergeant from the City of Annapolis Police Department in Maryland. In addition to 17 years in law enforcement, including stints with Patrol, Vice/Narcotics, Intelligence, S.W.A.T., and as an instructor, Justin is also a 12-year veteran of the Maryland Army National Guard. He served as a military police officer in both Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
Justin’s wife, Dana, is a law enforcement professional as well and they are incredibly proud parents of their daughter, Alexa. Justin and Dana are both lifelong residents of Maryland and are active in their community, church, and – most importantly – Alexa’s many activities inside and outside of school. He struggles to hold onto his youth by participating in endurance competitions like Tough Mudders and Ragnar Relays. Climbing and summiting Mt. Whitney in California was a great personal accomplishment for Justin, and he has a future goal of hiking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Justin holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from Johns Hopkins University.
